Embassy Suites Hotel
Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada |
We had booked the Junior Presidential Suite at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Niagara Falls.. When we arrived, they offered to upgrade us to a Presidential Suite for just $60 more (had we booked that room online it would have been at least $200 more). When you enter the room you are in the living area. It has a TV, 2 pull out couches and a huge window overlooking the Canadian falls from the 41st floor. In front of the window was a nice size table for 4. Our two kids stayed in this room and really enjoyed spending time at the table overlooking the falls. From that room there was a hallway that led to a bathroom on the left and a refreshment room. The refreshment room had a fridge, sink, microwave and a ton of counter space. The hallway ended at the bedroom that was spectacular to say the very least. As you can see from the pictures below, there was a full wall of curved floor to ceiling windows that overlooked both the Canadian falls and the American falls. Having seen the falls from the Skylon Tower and other high buildings I must admit, this was by far the most spectacular view of the falls I have even had in my 20 or so visits to Niagara Falls over the years. When we go back, hands down the Presidential Suite is the room we will book. The hotel is a large one, up on the cliff but they have a trolley that takes you down and you are right by the Canadian Falls at that point.

The bathroom at the Embasst Suires Hotel is not over the top but I thought it was lovely and well thought out. The main area has the vanity area with a large spa tub. One thing I loved about this vanity is the shelves where you can put personal items. One of the drawbacks of most hotel baths is not enough adequate space for personal items.
The over-sized spa tub is the perfect place to relax after a long day of walking around Niagara Falls. Dim the lights, pour a glass of wine and enjoy!
Above the tub in the picture above you will notice a window. This picture shows the frosted glass window from the bedroom looking into the bathroom. You can close them for privacy, but when left open they add a ton of natural light into the bathroom as well as a view out of the amazing bedroom windows from the bath.
The bathroom also has a separate toilet and shower area. It is things like this that make multiple people getting ready at the same time easy.
The shower is a good sixed one and the shelves for bath products are a lovely addition and are more generous in size than they appear in the pictures. The shower head was perfect. Great water pressure and the shower head was better than most hotels.

This is the view from the vanity out to the bedroom and through the bedroom windows you see the falls. It just doesn't get any better than this!

This area is a secondary sink area located outside of the bathroom. Having an entire second area for someone to get ready in the morning made me a die hard fan of this room. If you look at the far right of the picture you will see a glipse of the refreshment area. It is actually a very good size. I have stayed in hotels that had bathrooms that size.
